Memberships are now available for the CDGA 2001 season! The cost is $25.00 and that includes a Spanky CDGA T-shirt, and a mini disc. These hot little discs are sure to become collectors items....they will be your proof of membership, and will be available for one season only! Next season, we’ll have a different colour for you! Start your collection Today!!!! (Please note that we are a brand new organization, and the shirts and discs may or may not be ready at March Events, please don’t be mad at any of us if they aren’t, it isn’t our faults! MARCH 23: This is exciting!!!! Calgary Disc Golf Association has landed a slot on Global’s Breakfast Show. We’re slotted in for Friday, March 23 at ...brace yourself..6:00 am to 9:00 am. We are looking for as many disc golfers as possible to come out and be playing a round in the background during the segments. Please show up at Forest Lawn Disc Golf Course anytime between 5:45 am and 7:30 am. and show your support!!!!! Bring a friend, and don’t forget to set your VCR!

MARCH 25: Doubles Disc Drop Tournament, 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Disc Golf Course. The winningest team receives free membership for the 2001 season! There will also be a door prize for a free membership as well. After the tournament, join us at the Cat’n Fiddle on 16th Ave NW for a GENERAL MEETING so’s you can meet your board and we can fill you in on what we’ve been doing on your behalf !

April Events

APRIL 6/7: Spring Seeding! The first points tourney of the year! You’ll find us in Olds, Alberta. Saturday is for points, and Sunday will be fun doubles. We’re arranging discount accommodations for you, more info on that to come! Also, there will be a special trophy for Spring Seeding this year.....one to be passed on from year to year, and it’ll be worth your trip just to get a look at it! Remember, in order to earn points on the tour, you must be a member of both ADSA (free this year) AND the CDGA (we will be accepting EDGA memberships in lieu of CDGA memberships.
