Friday Night
Friday night at Park 96 is primarily a private corporate party. Between 6pm to 10pm, we are opening registration for the tournament. All registered golfers will be allowed into the park on Friday night. During this time you will have the opportunity to play a practice round or two. There's nothing like playing a round of golf at Parkland with music flowing down the hills.
This is a large corporate event and will have security and police presence throughout the park, so please behave accordingly.
Registration 6:00pm to 9:00pm
There will be registration just
outside at the entrance to the park. At
registration you will receive your players pack items.
You will be given a wristband
that you must wear all weekend to have access in and out of the park.
Final registration is Saturday morning between 8:00 - 9:30. Exact change greatly
appreciated.
Guest passes
Friday Guest Tickets
There are separate guest tickets required for Friday night that -must-
be purchased before Friday from Park 96. You can do a 'will call'
over the phone to buy the tickets. Call
271-7516 to get guest tickets. Tickets are $25 each. This
also includes a buffet dinner.
Weekend Guest Tickets
Disc Golf players registered in the tournament may purchase up to 3
(three) guest weekend passes for the Parkland Solstice Festival 2009 for
their spouses, partners, friends, etc. These guest tickets will be $35
for the weekend, if purchased on Friday night; if purchased on
Saturday June 27, the gate price is $40 per ticket. Guest tickets must
be purchased at the time of Disc Golf registration. These guest tickets
will be exchanged for wristbands on Saturday when first entering the
festival. Children aged 17 and under are admitted free of charge and
must enter with an adult with paid admission to be issued a wristband.
For guests interested in only attending the event on Sunday, the cost is
$20 per adult and those tickets can be bought at the gate from festival
staff on Sunday.

Saturday
Registration 8:00am - 9:30am There will be registration just outside the entrance to the park. At registration you will receive your players pack items. Players Meeting 9:45 Tee-off - 10:00 sharp There will be a shot gun start at 10am for the 1st round. There is a lot of golf and other activities during the day so we need to keep on schedule. You will be grouped in random groups based on your division for this round. There may be exceptions to complete groups. Players who are late will be assessed a 4 stroke over par penalty for each hole they miss with their assigned group. This rule will apply for each round - so please don't be late! After your first round hand in your signed and verified scorecards at Disc Central. During the lunch break we will group players by division and score for the second round Lunch Break There will be a 90 minute lunch break. We will announce when the shotgun start will be for the second round during this time. There will be plenty of facilities onsite for food and drink, so please stay in the park area for a prompt 2nd round start. Players who are late will be assessed a 4 stroke over par penalty for each hole they miss with their assigned group if late. This rule will apply for each round - so please don't be late! Tee-off - Second Round You will be grouped with your division peers in this round. After your second round hand in your signed and verified scorecards at Disc Central. Long Drive on hole 7 ~ 5:30pm Played from the 7th hole tee-off. We expect this to start at about 5:30pm. You will be given two throws to see who has the longest drive. The ridge OB will -not- be in effect. This competition is open to all tournament players for long drive bragging rights! Sunday
Players Meeting 9:15 Tee-off - 9:30 sharp There will be a shot gun start at 9:30am for the Final round. You will be grouped with your division peers in this round. Players who are late will be assessed a 4 stroke over par penalty for each hole they miss with their assigned group if late. This rule will apply for each round - so please don't be late! After your final round, hand in your signed and verified scorecards at Disc Central. Lunch Break There will be a 60 minute lunch break while the results are tabulated. The live music will be starting around 12 noon. There will be lots of food and drink on site. Awards Awards and raffle will be held and we will close off the 2009 Solstice Tourney. We realize out-of-towners may want to get back on the road as early as possible. Random Doubles Random doubles are planned for anyone wanting to play some extra golf. There could be some pretty hot competition as we expect a lot of groups to be playing. $5 per player, full payout.
