11:00 – Shot gun start! – 36 shortened holes – Most ACES wins.  (optional $5 Ace Pot)

~ 1:00 - Lunch

~2:00 -  Random Doubles match

Course will be set up on Saturday morning so you will have a quick chance to see the holes.

The Race Is On!
Each Autumn, disc golfers from around the world gather at their local courses for one purpose: to throw aces! No putting, no approaching... just runnin' at the chains.

To add to the challenge and excitement, players all throw the same model disc: in past years this has been a brand new, never-seen-before Discraft prototype disc that is introduced each year especially for Ace Race. All participants receive a player's pack that includes two discs and other goodies. Player's package is valued at $67, and your entry fee is only $30!  (although the poster indicates $25, we need $30 to cover costs which include event insurance and site rental)

The 2010 player pack will include two identical Discraft discs, a custom metal bag tag, Discraft sticker, plus a SuperColor mini and a premium ballcap.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST AND WILL BE GIVEN FIRST DIBS ON THE PACKAGES FROM NO-SHOWS WHO HAVE NOT YET PAID.

IF NEEDED, WE CAN SPLIT OUT PACKAGES WITH WILLING PLAYERS TO ALLOW YOU TO HAVE A DISC TO PLAY WITH.  WE WOULD THEN ORDER THE ADDITIONAL PACKAGES AFTER THE TOURNAMENT AND DELIVER THEM WHEN RECEIVED.

HOW TO GET THERE

Turn off of the Trans-Canada Highway at the town of Canmore. Follow the signs indicating the Nordic Centre (The sign is of a cross country skier) up Spray Lakes Road. When you arrive at the Nordic Centre, drive past the rows of flags into the small parking lot at the end.

You can also pay on the day of the Ace Race, but you will not have a confirmed players package.

Pre-payment is greatly appreciated.

Players packages will be ordered on September 17th based on the number of registrations. 

Packages also available to registered non-players. (you don't have to play, but it will be a blast!) 
You may also request multiple packages.  Non players must pay in advance!
